Private Property Reporting
Electronic Method to Submit Towing Authorizations
Effective January 1, 2007, the private property tow laws in California changed significantly. Those changes included requiring a written authorization for each tow, private property owner reporting, release notification, and criminal penalties for non-compliance. California is not the exception; similar legislation is planned or in place in several states, including Texas, Massachusetts and Arizona.
Meeting the private property reporting laws cannot be accomplished without a unified approach. C:LOGIC’s dispatch and towing management service streamlines incident reporting, improves operations and oversight, and enables collaboration and information sharing between law enforcement, the storage and towing industry, and private property owners via a secure authoritative data repository.
VINS, our web-based towing management service, eliminates phone, fax and paper-based processes that are manual, error prone and do not scale to satisfy stricter reporting requirements. Out-of-the-box forms and reports along with simplified integration with existing CAD, RMS, and lot management software eliminate the need to rip and replace existing investments and minimize employee training.
Delivering the most cost effective approach, C:LOGIC exceeds law enforcement compliance needs while lowering the cost and resources required by private property owners and the towing & storage industry.
