Compiled Logic Announces New, Expanded Roles For Key Executives And Renaming OF Towing Management Service To VINS

  • Changes Align Recently Acquired DTS Management, Services and Products into C:LOGIC

  • FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Houston, TX (July 30, 2008) – HOUSTON, TX – Compiled Logic (C:LOGIC), the leading provider of Towing Lifecycle Management solutions, announced today a series of executive promotions and the renaming of its towing management service to Vehicle Information-sharing and Notification Service (VINS).
  • The promotions announced include DaWane Wanek, who will serve as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of C:LOGIC and its recently acquired subsidiary DTS; Ron Smith, will replace Wanek as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Reba Hildebrand will become the General Manager of DTS. It was also announced that Keith Raterink will assume management of the Development, Quality Assurance and Test (QAT), Services and Customer Support organizations as the new Vice President of Technology.
  • “The changes reflect the company’s commitment to build a strong management team and deliver- the best products and services to the law enforcement, the towing and storage industry and state and municipal government,” said Lawrence Estes, CEO of C:LOGIC. “Today’s promotions are a result of their ability to think strategically, the respect they’ve earned from their peers, customers and partners, and their significant contributions to the company.”
  • Previously called C:VISTA, Vehicle Information-sharing and Notification Services (VINS) delivers a comprehensive Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that streamlines towing operations from tow slip through recovery or auction, enabling collaboration and information-sharing via a secure, multi-jurisdictional data repository. VINS patent-pending technology was developed with hands-on involvement from law enforcement, the towing and storage industry and municipal government information technology personnel and has been shown to be the right answer for non-consent towing management throughout the U.S.
  • “The renaming of our marketing leading towing lifecycle management service to VINS reflects the critical role it plays in delivering the authoritative database of non-consent towing and allowing the electronic sharing of this information between law enforcement, towing and storage businesses, private citizens, and neighboring jurisdictions,” stated Ron Smith, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The combination of VINS with DTS’s automated dispatch and towing (LETS) and lot management (TMS) offerings, provides a formidable solution to non-consent towing management and uniquely positions C:LOGIC to further exploit business opportunities arising from recent state legislation and local ordinance changes.
