About Us
Solutions for the Common Good
Three co-founders incorporated Compiled Logic (C:LOGIC) in 2004 with a corporate mission to "build solutions for the common good."
After exhaustive research, the company identified non-consent towing as a market where it could make a difference for the “common good”.
C:LOGIC found the world of non-consent towing to be plagued with paper-based processes, incomplete and inaccurate information, a
single jurisdictional view and poor communication. So the company set off to find a better answer - to improve towing management
and communication for all parties involved – citizens, law enforcement, towing and storage companies, and other affected private industries.
Working closely the Houston Police Department (HPD), C:LOGIC developed VINS, the industry’s first authoritative towing database and
electronic means for collecting and sharing non-consent towing information among stakeholders in the towing lifecycle.
Delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS) to reduce city infrastructure and resource costs, VINS was piloted in late 2006 within
HPD and successfully launched to the market in the summer of 2007.
In May 2008, C:LOGIC acquired Newport Beach-based Dispatch & Tracking Solutions (DTS), extending its portfolio of products
and services for automated dispatching, tracking and management of towing. In June 2008, C:LOGIC announced new services for owner
notification and emergency towing operations.
As the recognized leader in Multi-Jurisdictional Towing Lifecycle Management solutions, C:LOGIC’s systems are used today by major US
metropolitan areas in California, Georgia, North Carolina, New Mexico and Texas to provide the least disruptive, lowest risk answer to
reducing towing management costs, providing effective industry oversight and helping citizens locate towed vehicles.
